Notes

Der Adlertunnel ist ein einröhriger, 5,5 Kilometer langer Eisenbahntunnel in der Schweiz. Er dient zwischen Muttenz und Liestal der Entlastung der Hauensteinlinie.

 

Seit der Fertigstellung sind in einem ca. 40 m langen, rund 1000 m vom Nordportal bei Pratteln entfernten Tunnelabschnitt Deformationen(«Quetschung» und Hebung des Tunnelquerschnitts) als Folge des Quelldrucks des Gebirges aufgetreten. Das unbewehrte Innengewölbe ist durch Risse stark geschädigt und musste als Sofortmassnahme mit Stahlsegmentbögen gesichert werden, um die Gebrauchstauglichkeit weiterhin gewährleisten zu können.
